Volunteer Days Join Sustainable Settings for a day of ranch work and feasting May thru November. Meet our rare-breed animals, get your hands in the dirt, and help bring local food production and sustainability education to the Roaring Fork Valley. Volunteer days include a range of ranch and garden-farm work activities. No previous experience gardening or farming is required, please call first for details! Harvest days are a fun day to join us, they are Thursday and Fridays 10-4ish. If you can join us for the entire day you will be included in one of our amazing ranch lunches. Volunteer Program Our volunteer program builds local constituency, provides individuals access to the projects and activities at the ranch, communicates our mission and brings important insight and expertise to the ongoing development of our organization and programs.
Adult Internships For more info on Internships go to our Intern Page. An adult internship at Sustainable Settings is an intense day-to-day immersion in sustainable living. Applying themselves to practical solutions, our interns study a range of sustainable methods and technologies, spearhead specific research agendas, and roll up their sleeves to help design and create many of the systems that make up our whole systems learning center.
