Sustainable Settiings is a Biodynamic (BD), whole systems working ranch in the Crystal River Valley. Established 20 years ago we are a research and demonstration site for organic sustainable agriculture.
We feature a small raw dairy, vegetable crops & CSA, meat and egg micro enterprises. We are home to Biodyanmic Source: which is devoted to the preservation and evolution of Biodynamic Agriculture through our research, demonstration, production and distribution of Demeter Certified Biodynamic preparations that are appropriate for our time. Biodyanmic Botanicals: is devoted to the research, education and production of superior quality Demeter Certified Biodynamic botanicals in order to yield highly potent, vibrant and healing herbs for people, pollinators and planet.

Ranch Lunches

Bike to Ranch Early Sunday Suppers

Every Sunday starting June 17 5:30-7:30. $55 per person
Please call the Wednesday before to reserve your seat at the table, Reservations required, space is limited, 970-963-6107.
Enjoy one of the best bike paths in the Roaring Fork Valley, along the scenic byway Highway 133. This 6 mile ride passes right by the Ranch. Dinner is a casual meal prepared with products from the ranch.

Ranch Stay

Reservations required.

3pm Saturdays to 2pm Sundays – Join us at the ranch for an overnight camp-out. Have a ranch dinner Saturday evening, sleep under the stars and wake to roosters crowing, and morning ranch life including; milking cows, feeding ranch animals, pasture walk, harvesting your food for lunch. Includes Saturday ranch dinner, Sunday breakfast and lunch $500 per person Kids 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
